Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme:
Senior citizens in India get monthly pension under IGNOAPS scheme. Senior Citizens in the age group of 60-79 years falling under BPL category will get a monthly stipend of Rs.1000/-. When you reach the age of 80 years, your pension will be Rs. 1500/- increases.
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme is a non-contributory pension. That means the beneficiary does not need to make any contribution to get the pension.
